VeganMoFo Day 16 Some days you have to satisfy a craving!

Seriously folks, I woke up during the night craving Swiss chard and garlic. When I woke up I was still craving delicious chard and garlic so when it came time for lunch I could wait no longer. Out of the fridge came the chard, garlic from the basket, and chickpeas from the cupboard. Yep, steamed chard with garlic along side flax seed crackers and garlic hummus. Oh and you can't forget more fresh pineapple spears. :o) Lazy vegans meal? No, just a nutritionally balanced meal. :o)

Yes, I do feel better now. Wonder what I will be craving tonight?

No it won't be pickles and ice cream. :o)

This reminds me of my cabbage cravings! Since it was so hot here this summer, our greens crops are about a month behind. So I'll have to stave off any cravings I get for quite a while.

Sheree, you made my pumpkin millet muffins twice already! I had forgotten how good those crunchy little millet beads are in breads and muffins.

My daughter has leftovers from last nights dinner some times, if it so suits her.

Could be baked ziti, or stir fry...whatever floats her boat!

You have the healthiest cravings I ever heard of! When I wake up because I crave something it's always chocolate.

Yum, what a fun-sounding dinner. Do you eat the pineapple with the hummus? I love apples and hummus-- the sweet with the salty :o).
