VeganMoFo Day 22 Football and pizza

Since we were busy playing with our grandson all afternoon dinner had to be quick. Our daughter picked up the baby about 4:30 and we were having company at 6:pm. I had made the salad this morning so there was nothing quicker than to toss a pizza in the oven for 7 minutes.
Dinner served. Quick and easy!

Pizza toppings included marinara sauce, follow your heart cheese, smart life pepperoni, field roast Italian sausages, spinach, black olives, and red and green peppers. No time to caramelize onions. Bummer! Sadly folks, pizza is a RED LIGHT FOOD for me and I forget when to stop. :o) Thank goodness Vegan pizza is better for you than omni versions.
I leave you with a smile! We were playing football and having a blast. :o)

What a sweet smile. :-)

Your pizza looks delicious. It's my red light food too, so I only prepare what I want to eat, because otherwise, I go on and on...!

I remember when I was first married *cough cough* 27 years ago, and my husband and I used to go to Pizza Hut and we would order the "Everything" pizza. Ewww.

Not anymore.

We are still serching for the perfect pizza dough. We grind our own wheat, but it is too wheaty. Does that make sense? I think we will soften it up with a bit of, dare I say...store bought flour.

Glad you enjoyed the pizza.

So much better to play than cook! And you can't beat a good pizza anyway.

Awww what an adorable photo! And that pizza looks incredible, someone at Whole Foods was just telling me I had to get field roast bc I have not had it yet. It seems to be very popular!
